Compensation

  • $25 – $31 per hour

Operator Role

What You'll Operate & Handle

Operate Heavy Equipment

Skid steer and mini excavator operation on helical pier installation sites.

Tow & Haul

Pull and manage a large Gooseneck trailer safely to and from job sites.

Maintenance & Mechanics

Hands-on mechanical experience to keep equipment running efficiently on-site.

On-the-Spot Problem Solving

Identify and resolve small issues quickly so the job doesn't stop.

Team Lead Role

Leading the Crew & the Job

Run & Manage the Crew

Direct day-to-day crew activities, assign tasks, and keep everyone productive.

Machinery Checklists

Ensure every crew member completes equipment inspection checklists daily.

Job Success Accountability

You own the outcome. The success of the job rests on your leadership.

Minor Mechanical Repairs

Solve mechanical problems on-site and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

You’re the point of contact on-site. You call the engineer with confidence, relay information clearly, and keep every stakeholder informed so the job runs without delays.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

Experience operating a Skid Steer and/or Mini Excavator
Ability to pull and manage a large Gooseneck trailer
Mechanical aptitude — maintenance and minor repair experience
Proven ability to lead and manage a crew on job sites
Clear and confident communication with engineers and management
Problem-solving mindset — find solutions and communicate them clearly
Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on equipment
Self-motivated — accountability and ownership of job success
CDL is a plus — not required, but highly valued

Pay & Benefits

  • $25–$31/hr based on experience
  • Minimum 5 hours guaranteed per day
  • Overtime pay available
  • 5 paid sick days per year (after 1 year of employment)
  • 5 paid vacation days per year (after 1 year of employment)
  • Unused sick days paid out as a year-end bonus
  • Note: Vacation days do not roll over year to year.

    Schedule & Hours

  • DFW Metroplex: 35–45 hrs/week
  • New Mexico midstream: 55–70 hrs/week
  • Schedule varies by project location
  • Travel to NM projects as needed
  • Note: This position does not include health, dental, or vision benefits at this time.
