    Helical Pier Manufacturing

    FnD Piers uniquely manufactures its own helical piers in-house — giving us a competitive edge in quality and turnaround that no other company in our region can match. We're looking for a motivated welder and fabricator to join our helical shop team in Aurora. This is a hands-on, highly repetitive manufacturing role where precision, quota attainment, and team accountability matter every single day.

    You'll be working with pipe, flights, plasma tables, and presses. This role involves daily heavy equipment handling and significant physical labor. Every day you show up, you're contributing directly to the product that keeps foundations solid across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and beyond.

    Job Duties

  1. Highly repetitive helical pier manufacturing — hitting daily quotas set by the shop manager
  2. Heavy equipment handling and physical labor throughout the day
  3. Welding flights and components to pipe stock
  4. Pressing flights onto pipe
  5. Moving and staging pipe throughout the shop
  6. Coding and marking pipe for specifications
  7. Operating the plasma cutting table
  8. Staying organized and cleaning up your work area without being asked
  9. Keeping pace with a fast-moving shop with lots of moving parts
    10. What We Need

    Requirements

  10. Welding experience preferred but not required
  11. Reliable transportation to and from the shop daily
  12. Active smartphone (used for communication and workflow)
  13. Ability to pass regular drug tests
  14. Punctuality — work days start at the shop in Aurora on time
  15. Preferred: live within 30 minutes of the shop

  20. $20–$27/hr based on experience
  21. 5 paid sick days per year (after 1 year of employment)
  22. 5 paid vacation days per year (after 1 year of employment)
  23. Unused sick days paid out as a year-end bonus
    24. Note: Vacation days do not roll over year to year.
