Helical pier pricing

Everything in this table is a real, current figure rather than an industry estimate.

WhatFigureNotes
Test holes Free on approval Drilled before the design is finalized, so the soil profile is measured. This is the step that makes the rest of the estimate real.
Elevation survey Part of the evaluation Taken with a zip level and walked through with you on the spot, including when the answer is that you do not need work.
Jobsite delivery on pier orders Free For contractors buying piers wholesale. Delivered cost is closer to quoted cost than the industry norm.
One-day installer training $6,500 North Fort Worth, hands-on, and it includes a $4,000 product credit toward helical piers. Built for pool excavators bringing pier work in-house.
Non-specialty helical installation Next day Not a price, but it is a cost: every day a foundation is not carrying load is a day your schedule slips and your invoice waits.
Typical ranges

What a pier typically costs, installed

These are FnD's own ranges, not industry estimates, current as of August 18, 2026. Each figure is per pier, installed, at the stated depth and shaft configuration. Bare is uncoated steel; CPG is cold plate galvanized per ASTM A780; HDG is hot-dip galvanized per ASTM A123.

WorkConfigurationPer pier, installed
New construction2-7/8" helical, bare, 15 ft$550 to $650
New construction2-7/8" helical, CPG, 15 ft$650 to $800
New construction2-7/8" helical, HDG, 15 ft$800 to $950
New construction4.5" helical, bare, 15 ft$800 to $950
New construction4.5" helical, HDG, 15 ft$1,200 to $1,400
Foundation repair2-7/8" helical, any coating, 20 ft$1,100 to $1,450
Foundation repair4.5" helicalaround $2,500

How to read these. The stated depths are the reference for the range, but a pier is advanced until it achieves the design torque, not to a set depth, so a site where competent soil sits deeper adds extension sections and moves the number up. Your project total is the pier count from the elevation survey and the structural load, multiplied by the per-pier figure your configuration lands on.

Repair runs higher than new construction for the same shaft because the reference depth is deeper and the pier goes in beside a structure that is already carrying load, rather than on open ground.

Get the measurements first, then the number

An evaluation with elevations taken and shown to you, and free test holes on approval so the estimate is based on your soil rather than an average. If the answer is that you do not need the work, that is the answer you will get.
